First Eye Exam

Well, I went to the eye doctor on Thursday for the first time since my diagnosis, and got really good news. They found no signs of any damage in either of my eyes. And the doctor said that the blurry vision issues I’ve been having should go away once I’ve got my BG levels under control. So, unless there are any problems, I don’t have to go back for another year. I didn’t have to get new glasses or anything, either, so this it was a rather inexpensive visit. Always a plus.

I’ve been half blind since then because they had to dilate my eyes during the exam. I really don’t like that stuff, but I guess it’s a necessary evil. Working at the newspaper tonight was a lot of fun. 🙂

Just thought I’d share that bit of good news.
